Built on our experience with the original Jazzkat, we wanted to improve the sound, weight and feature set of the new amp, and boy, we did!!
The amp is smaller and lighter than the original Jazzkat but with a bigger warmer sound. Now 75 watts, the new Jazzakat still uses an 8” speaker but of a new design that gives a fuller, bigger and warmer sound.
We spent numerous hours with a variety of artists playing through the amp, listening to their opinions, making changes and then having them play it again. We spent months on design and testing to create an amplifier that is very light weight but has a very large, warm, clean sound.
Artists who have played the pre-production models were satisfyingly amazed at the bigness of the sound along with the how warm and clear the tone is. One artist who played it at a gig was told by his bassist and singer that they could hear the difference and love the sound. We are positive you will hear the difference and love then new sound too!

New for this year is the TomKat 10” tube amplifier. After many hours of discussions with a wide variety of musicians it became evident that the tube amplifier is anything but dead.
Some artists refuse to play through anything but a tube amp and others prefer no tube because of the upkeep necessary.
After many long full day and night sessions with Vince and Marty in the lab, the TomKat was born. The TomKatTM is the perfect mix between tube and non tube amplifier.
With an amazing 125 Watts of power, the TomKatTM allows the player to take on even the most demanding gigs. The TomKatTM comes with an extension speaker jack giving the player the opportunity to widen their sound by adding an extension cabinet.
Utilizing a larger 10” speaker for a bigger sound while maintaining that same clean, warm tone that is Jazzkat, the TomKat adds another dimension, a TUBE! The beautiful aspect of this amplifier is that there is a switch that allows the user to switch between either using the tube or playing without it.
This allows the player a choice between the long-established sound of a tube amplifier or with the push of a button return to the great original Jazzkat sound. Upkeep worries are eliminated with our special advanced tube circuitry that allows the tube to run cooler for longer life.

Bass, Keyboards, Guitar, Vocals, Yep, you can play it all through this amplifier.
Originally the BassKatTM, renamed the PhatKatTM because of the wide variety of instruments played through it. The original BassKatTM was a 10” speaker but through our extensive market research it became apparent that more people preferred a 12” speaker to a 10” speaker.
The name was changed to PhatKatTM due to the many requests we are getting from keyboard players, guitar players, steel guitar and many other types of instruments.
The name best describes the sound, Phat! If your instrument needs and amplifier the PhatKatTM can handle it.

The AcoustiKat amplifier from JazzKat. Delivers accurate instrument and vocal representation combined with power to spare for your music and light weight to spare your spine.
The AcoustiKat is easily the most sonically flexible model currently in the JazzKat line. That three way switch [on/off/middle] for the studio quality tweeter allows you to "voice" the AcoustiKat to your needs: for a tradtional "Jazz" sound...to a brighter "acoustic" sound...or a combination of the two.
Like any chef will tell you, ingredients make all the difference. In the AcoustiKat, "electronic chef" Marty Abbate chose a silk dome tweeter and Eminence Acoustinator woofer along with a 1500 Hz frequency crossover point between the two drivers.
The fusion of these ingredients housed within a tuned cabinet enclosure results in a very musical representation of your instrument, at once bringing out the "woodiness" in the lows and mids plus detail and "open-ness" in the high end.
A strong power section with 150 watts RMS into its internal speaker ensures that the AcoustiKat will handle most any gig with headroom to spare. If you absolutely must play that stadium gig, just add an extra speaker for 225 watts RMS.
