The Sahana is a single channel amp with two footswitchable gain stages. With this feature you have the flexibility of a two channel amp. From semi-clean to all out overdrive the Sahana has the ability to provide amazing tones covering many different styles.

It responds very well to the guitars volume control, and to your pick attack. The Sahana is very articulate, and sensitive to your touch. Never overly compressed or muddy. Solid state rectification keeps this amp tight, even when cranked up. Speaking of cranked up, with its master volume the Sahana sounds great to both cranked and at bedroom levels.
Hand assembled and hand wired, with no compromises. Simply put the Sahana is a 45 watt tone monster.

The idea for the Port City Twelve amplifier was simple.......A lower wattage amp that is simple yet classy. Smaller in size but BIG in performance. Handwired using the best components with a price tag that won't affect your long term financial goals. I believe we hit the mark.

The first thing you will notice when you plug into this amp is clarity. At lower volumes this amp is CLEAN. Your touch, your guitar, your pick, heck...even the way you breathe will come through! Ok...maybe not, but you get the idea. When you begin to turn up the volume you get some natural breakup. That only wets your appetite to crank it. Doing so will unleash the natural compression and drive that is sure to put a smile on your face. With the amp cranked you can still use your volume knob and pickup toggle switch to get a multitude of different tones. We recently added a thick switch beside the tone knob. This adds just a bit more low mids to your sound. Did we mention the Twelve amp loves pedals? Overdrives, boosts, delays, reverbs...The Twelve takes them all wonderfully.

The Port City Wave™ cabinets are totally unique in their appearance however, the magic of this cabinet lies within. This patent pending design is truly something special. The Port City Wave™ cabinet is constructed with a 45-degree angle sound deflecting panel located at the back of the cabinet. (Between the top of the cab and the backpanel.) This panel is dadoed on both sides of the cabinet for ultimate support. Internal sound waves are projected from the back of the speaker down to the bottom of the cabinet where another 45-degree panel projects sound waves towards the front of the cabinet. From there an angled port which runs the width of the cabinet and projects these sound waves out and up towards you. This allows those sound waves from the rear of the speaker to mix with the sound waves from the front of the speaker. This gives an effect similar to that of your sound coming from a PA system. Your tone is balanced, full and clear.

The 1x12 and 1x12 OS Port City Wave cabinet can match most 2x12 cabinets in its volume and depth. When you dig into a bend or chord you can hear and feel the difference with this cabinet. Good tone is vital to a good musician, however, great tone and lots of it is what great musicians deserve. The design, while simple, is proven. At Port City we are sure you will love your Wave cabinet once you finally hear what you've been missing!

The Port City Wave is not designed to specifically boost or cut any certain frequencies. It is designed to harness all the sound your speaker produces.
