Featuring top quality PCB design and still constructed and handwired in the UK, these amps represent the ultimate affordable price point for Cornford tone junkies.

The preamp consists of three 12AX7/ECC83 in the preamp and, by way of a departure from the usual 6L6, a pair of cathode biased EL34s in the output stage. When overdriven, these impart a distinctly British flavour to the overall voice and response of the amp.

The preamp has Gain; a switchable Gain Boost with a level adjustment control and front panel switch, which is bypassed when the remote footswitch is plugged in using the rear panel socket; Bass, Middle Treble and Master Volume controls. The Master Volume configuration enabling the user to obtain a fluid lead sound, with the Gain Boost engaged, for those late night practice sessions, or wind up the wick for touch sensitive overdrive from the output valves, going into meltdown when you kick in the Boost: just what's needed for playing with the rest of the band. All this and you'll still hear every note!

Guitarist Magazine gave the Roadhouse 30 combo a 5 out of 5 review & awarded the "Guitarists Gold " award.
Premier Guitar Magazine gave the Roadhouse 30 its"Premier Gear" 5 Star Award.
Guitarrista Spain gave also gave its 5 Star Award.

ROADHOUSE 30 and 50

With a build quality of the highest order, this is a Class A point-to-point hand wired boutique amp to be proud of. Whether it's that unique Cornford sound, or it's unique stylish good looks, the Harlequin is a real head-turner.

This 6 Watt combo sports all that's necessary to deliver your sound, without all the bells and whistles which are superfluous in the studio. Everything you need and nothing you don't.

No reverb or FX loops here, but the sweetest route from guitar to those killer tracks you have in your head. Be it rock, blues, funk, jazz - clean, dirty, or somewhere in between - it's all a flick-of-the-switch away in the Cornford Harlequin.

UK publication Guitarist Magazine awarded the Harlequin with the title "Amp of the Year up to £500"

Guitar Player USA also gave the Harlequin its "Best in Class" Award.

HARLEQUIN

This amp is the ideal canvas for you to create your perfect guitar tone on. This little beauty with your favourite guitar & pedal selection plugged into it will rock your world!

The Cornford Carrera is low enough in power to get those searing solo sounds in either the home or studio, but it has the balls to work as a great small gigging amp. Such a versatile amp - you just switch the tubes around & all of a sudden it's like owning a new amp!

Unlike most modern tube amps, the Cornford Carrera features a Class A tube power section & is hand wired point to point, rather than using PCB's (printed circuit boards). This ensures that you get the absolute purest tube tone out of your tube amplifier

Guitarist Magazine gave this a 5 out of 5 review & awarded the Carrera with a "Guitarists Gold " award.

Guitarrista Spain also gave the Carrera its 5 Star Award.

CARRERA

The Cornford Hurricane is the big brother of the original Harlequin. This is the amp you need when you want all that sweet tone, but at a more gig-friendly volume. Its compact size and light weight - due to its pine cabinet - make it ideal for easy transport and modest stages, whilst making no tonal compromises.

The reason why we have designed and built the Hurricane was purely because so many of our Cornford players asked us to. There seems to be so much interest in 20 wattish vintage valve amps that can really be cranked to get that sweet "on the edge" tone, but at club volume levels, that we had to make our own.

The one thing that we've added over those lovely vintage amps is a huge dollop of Cornford dirt (should you want it!) and if you don't want to revel in that creamy filth it's got a tonne of clean headroom plus that lovely valve powered reverb.

Guitarist Magazine gave this amp a 5 out of 5 review & awarded the Hurricane with a "Guitarists Choice" award.

Guitarrista Spain also gave the Hurricane its 5 Star Award.

The Cornford Hurricane combo has also been awarded...

Guitar Magazine UK * Amp of the Year 2002

Guitarist UK * Best UK Product 2002

Gitarist Germany * 5 Star Tip Award

What Guitar UK * Best Amp in Class

and the Guitar Player USA Editors         Pick Award

The ethic is to provide awesome guitar sounds, superlative quality, affordable prices to our fellow guitarists.

2000"

HURRICANE

Following on from the success of the original MK50H, Cornford have created the MK50H II. Completely redesigned, it incorporates the great Overdrive Channel found in the original, with the addition of a seperate Clean Channel, dual switchable and assignable FX loops and bias switchable for 6L6 power valves (supplied as standard) or EL34.

This amp is Cornford's most complex offering to date, allowing the user ultimate tonal and operational versatility.

The addition of the seperate clean channel on this amp takes it into the realms of best channel switcher in the world.

If two channels doesn't sound that many, consider the available options...

1) Clean Channel with Master 1
2) Overdrive Channel with Master 1
3) Clean Channel with Master 2
4) Overdrive Channel with Master 2
5) Overdrive Channel with Overdrive switched on through Master 1
6) Overdrive Channel with Overdrive switched on through Master 2

Then add in the two FX loops possibly with eqs/boosts in there... I'm losing count already!

Guitarista Spain gave the MK50H II its 5 Star Award.

Guitarist Magazine gave the MK50H II a 5 out of 5 review & awarded the "Guitarists Gold " award.

The Cornford Hellcat has an enormous repertoire. This beauty of an amp has the power to suit stage or studio with ease and sounds ranging all the way from vintage early break-up through to downright hair raising modern rock and metal.

Add to this a sumptuous valve reverb, dual master volume controls and an overdrive lead sound to die for, the Hellcat is definately not to be missed.

A boutique amp that does metal?? And all points in between and it does it all in that very special Cornford way. None more brown and most definitely the tone by which all others must be judged.

Guitarist Magazine gave this amp a 5 out of 5 review & awarded the Hellcat with a "Guitarists Choice" award.

The Hellcat also received a 5 Star Tip Award from German magazine Gitarist, as well as a 5 Star Award from Guitarrista Spain.
